All Around Me (Municipal Forms)

Based on brick and tiled geometric
designs found in sports centres,
swimming baths, housing estates,
subways and shopping precincts
built in the 1960s and 70s.
Before I moved from North London
as a young teen I always loved these
abstract sometimes mosaic style
graphic segments of buildings.
Thinking back - who did these
beautiful designs?
Maybe hired by their local councils
but with no recognition.
